Bits To Bytes
I have a few developer friends that I often talk to about technology and had the idea of creating a website where we can all discuss and share our thoughts!

In 2014 my friend Antony introduced me to something called C#, we jumped on TeamViewer and I unknowingly did my very first pair programming session. I had an idea for an app that would scrape data of websites and present them in a window. Antony introduced me to variables, for loops, methods, arguments, Visual Studio 2013, .NET and Win Forms. By the end of the call I knew I wanted to do this for a career. I not long after enrolled into my local college for an I.C.T Course with a emphasis on development, then progressed to university to study computer science then I got my first software development job in 2017.

Hello reader! So, back in 2003 when I left high school, I knew that I wanted to be working with ICT. From school, I went to sixth form where I studied ICT amongst other subjects, with the aim of going to university to study Computer Science. Since I graduated, I've worked in several industries doing database development work. Database development forms over 90% of my work I'd say. I write database automation systems in C#.NET/T-SQL, but from time to time, my work overlaps to web-based stuff. When I do find myself having to do web stuff, it's always been database driven, and for that, I’ve always used Web Forms. My understanding of Web Forms stems from my time at University of Chester from the years 2005-2008. At the time, I was studying a few technologies, but Web Forms naturally appealed to me due to it's server-side capabilities.
